
General tso’s cauliflower
Ingredients
- 1 cauliflower
- 30 ml fresh ginger
- 4 green shallots
- 30 ml dried chili or samba oelek
- 60 ml coconut sugar
- 60 ml Braggs sauce
- 10 ml rice vinegar
- 50 ml cornstarch
- 300 ml chicken broth
- 20 ml sesame oil
- 45 ml oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425 F
- Cut cauliflowers into small florets and reserve
- Place the cauliflowers on a sheet and add olive oil and salt.
- Cook for about 15 minutes until you get a nice color
- Sauté ginger, half of the shallots and chilli in a small cauldron.
- Then add sugar, soy sauce, chicken broth, rice vinegar, cornstarch and bring to a boil.
- Then remove from heat and add sesame oil
- Add the cauliflower sauce and add the remaining sesame seeds and shallots
